Gabe Tracking is on the search for a skilled Fleet Manager to become an integral part of our team in Dwight, Illinois. With your expertise, you will ensure the seamless operation of our truck fleet, managing maintenance, repairs, procurement, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fleet Management: Take charge of our fleet of trucks, maintaining their readiness and reliability for the road ahead.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee scheduling of routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to uphold safety and compliance.
• Procurement: Utilize your negotiating prowess in the acquisition and management of top-quality trucks and equipment, liaising with suppliers to secure the best resources.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Looking for proven experience in fleet management, particularly with trucks. Candidates with a background in this field are encouraged to apply.
• Organizational Skills: Must possess strong organization and planning capabilities to balance multiple tasks effectively.
• Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills are essential for dealing with procurement and vendor relations.
• Additional Advantage: While not mandatory, possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) would be beneficial, as it provides deeper insight into the trucking industry and operations.
