Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Manager to oversee our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's fleet of vehicles efficiently and ensuring timely deliveries.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize fleet efficiency
- Coordinate and monitor all logistics activities related to fleet operations
- Utilize GPS and GIS systems for route planning and tracking
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to enhance transportation processes
- Manage transportation planning using Oracle Transportation Management software
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards
- Oversee maintenance schedules and repairs for the fleet
- Work closely with 3PL providers to streamline operations

Skills:

- Proficiency in transportation management systems like AS400 and SyteLine
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles
- Experience in using GIS for mapping and route optimization
- Familiarity with Oracle Transportation Management software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
