Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: To accurately, and in a timely manner, use ICD-10, and CPT-4 coding principles in assigning diagnostic, procedure, and reimbursement codes on all categories of patient records. Application of these codes must be in compliance with all Medicare, Medicaid, CHAMPUS, and private insurance company requirements, as well as federal laws as they apply to the Prospective Payment System, APC, and other requirements of reimbursement. Coding must pass rigorous quality edits. High level of expertise and knowledge rules of all ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and CPT coding principles, rules, guidelines, recommendations, and changes as they occur. Serve as a coding expert and resource throughout the hospital and physician offices. Fulltime Impatient position.
