- Oversees a small team of developers for approximately 50% of their time and developing code for approximately 50% of their time. The team includes developers in both the USA and India.
- Design and develop two new web applications in Java, React, and Spring Boot.
- Will work with the other teams to architect and design the tools for optimal solutions/performance.
- Establish coding standards, process for code reviews, code repository, unit testing plan using automation.
- Monitor project progress and adjusts tactics to improve progress.
- Review all artifacts for quality and on-time delivery.
- Run/attend daily morning standups with India and USA teams.
- Ability to demonstrate the newly developed web applications to the customer/business partner.
- Responsible for all the sprint deliverables.
- Works closely with the functional lead to design and implement desired functionality according to business requirements.
- Ensures all design deliverables conform with agreed upon specifications to meet business goals, including assisting with end-to-end testing and support of deployment to production.
- Demonstrated ability to architect, design, and build web applications using Java/React from scratch.
- Languages: Java, JavaScript
- IDE: IntelliJ, Spring Tools Suite
- Web Frameworks: Spring Boot, React, Hibernate, Tomcat
- Web Services: REST
- Databases: Azure MS SQL Database
- Continuous Integration/Development Tools: GIT, Gradle-Kotlin, Azure Dev-Ops, Harness, Jira
- Platforms: Windows, Linux
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with technical (USA and India) and business teams (USA).
- Understanding of agile principles and methodology for delivery.
- Senior-level experience using the tools listed above.
- Demonstrated ability to architect, design, and build web applications from scratch.
