Founded in 1968, our areas of expertise include metal stamping, laser cutting, fabrication, manual and robotic welding, tool and die work, powder coating and assembly. Our modern facilities include 170,000 square feet of manufacturing space between three facilities all located in Fairfield, OH. We specialize in numerous industries including construction, transportation, energy, and defense. We have an opening for a1st shift Press Brake Operator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal sheets and plates according to specifications. The Press Brake Operator will work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, and will be responsible for ensuring that all finished products meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal sheets and plates according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements
- Select and install appropriate tooling and dies in press brake machines
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper alignment, clearance, and depth of bend
- Monitor machine operation to ensure that products meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and lubricating
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure that they meet customer specifications
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Experience with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
