Processing, packaging and shipping orders accurately, with a packing slip

· Inspecting products for defects and damages

· Examine incoming and outgoing shipment

· Organize warehouse space

· Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately

· Inventory control, able to know the number of items that are currently in warehouse, knowing correct placement of items to facilitate and organize warehouse production

· Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

· Maintains forklifts by completing preventive maintenance requirements, arranging for repairs.

· Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Food Safety:

· Provide feedback to immediate supervisor on Continuous Improvement Opportunities and Identified Non-Conformances.

· Record assigned daily activities and ensure records are legible, clear, concise and accurate.

· Keep working area clean and follow cleaning and sanitation procedures.

· Report any pest sighting throughout the facility.

· Minimize risk of biological, chemical and physical contamination by following GMPs, Allergen, and Foreign Matter Contamination

Policies.

· Report any suspicious threat concerning product adulteration or contamination

· Participate in monthly food safety team and/or HACCP meetings. Follow up with resulting action plans.

· Enforce food safety practices on daily activities.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Bilingual - Spanish, not required.

• Remaining Upright for long periods of time.

• Able to lift 55 pounds occasionally at or above waist height.
