Position Summary

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to grow your career? GA Rogers Associates has been tasked with finding a Manufacturing Technician for a chemical manufacturing company in East Hanover, NJ.

In this role, you'll be supporting the operation of the R&D Pilot Plant and warehouse facility, ensuring that all raw materials are received and shipped on time. You'll also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, placing orders for new materials, and dispensing materials for pilot batches and formula development. Additionally, you'll be responsible for setting up, assembling, disassembling, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the pilot plant equipment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Weigh and blend ingredients for developing and manufacturing adhesives and coatings.
• Comply with all pertinent SOPs and/or batch records.
• Perform in-process and final inspection tests.
• Document and review data with accuracy.
• Familiar with Final Fill.
• Cleaning/ sanitizing of vessels and equipment.
• Write SOPs and other Quality documents.
• Write and implement deviations, investigations, and CAPAs.
• Visual and physical checks/calibrations of equipment and instruments.
• Monitor inventory and place orders.
• Set up and execute projects and jobs independently.
• Troubleshoot and maintain process equipment.

Position Requirements and Qualifications

Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience. A bachelor's degree is a plus.

Experience: 10 years of relevant work experience.

• Experience working within ISO 9001 or equivalent environments.
• Experience with production planning.
• Work well with a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• English fluency, written and verbal.
• Basic math.
• Windows, Word, Excel proficiency.
