Agile Delivery Consultant develops, automates and manages software production and test environments with focus on feature, negative and performance/scale aspects.
Defines and maintains test system configuration and test data.
Performs test executions and creates test scripts for complex integrated systems.
Establishes goals and objectives for appropriate testing cycles.
Defines and maintains test standards and quality assurance tasks. Implements test processes on projects, writes test plans, procedures and scripts, and analyzes test results
Project Description
The IT Business Systems Delivery (BSD) Customer Engagement department supports, manages and implements a portfolio of IT system capital initiatives with our Customer Operations, Energy Management and Customer Energy Solution business partners.
This IT team supports each initiative from conception to implementation and provides the necessary IT support required to either enhance existing systems, create or enhance interfaces and or design, develop, test and implement new applications.
The Customer Engagement Capital Portfolio Team is looking for a Project Manager with strong communications skills, to work with our existing IT delivery team to design, develop, test and implement key functional enhancements based on business requirements from our product owner and regulator.
The ideal candidate has strong communication and problem-solving skills, can help foster relationships, facilitate and coordinate standard project operations and support and drive excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
Ensure that the project team adheres to project operational standards and follow Microsoft Azure DevOps processes for reporting tasks, defects and time
Organize and lead project status, working meetings and scrum ceremonies if applicable (such as daily standup, backlog grooming session and sprint retrospectives)
Prepare and distribute progress reports and meeting minutes
With help from the team, implement, and maintain the project or work plan
Collaborate with the Product Owner to coordinate project schedules.
Ensure that the project team follows all quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and knowledge transitions with minimum impact on project delivery.
Ensure that all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected stakeholders.
Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations.
Define release scope and schedule, with focus on regular and timely delivery of value.
Collaborate with team to identify impediments and help facilitate resolution.
Seek management help to remove impediments being faced by the team.
Represent the project team at meetings.
Create project and work plans for assigned program work streams
Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustments as necessary.
Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process and take corrective actions to deliver the project on time, within budget.
Obtain buy-in from senior management for all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, and scope changes.
Help define team member roles and expectations, and ensure project resources are used effectively.
Assist in team development, while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work;
Assist in leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
Help manage relationships with all suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor their progress and adherence to the contract.
TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have
Ability to define, implement, and maintain project process guidance (e.g., project plan and subordinate plans), tailoring organizational processes as needed in collaboration with Scrum Master.
Ability to ensure team's adherence to project processes and best practices identified in collaboration with Scrum Master.
Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed.
Ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
Ability to negotiate changes to commitments/requirements.
Ability to react/produce in an Agile project atmosphere.
Ability to review ongoing and proposed projects to identify opportunities for reuse and process improvement.
Experience leading and mentoring IT project teams
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Strong knowledge of project management and software development methodology and tools: Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, SDLC, DevOps, SaFE
Strong verbal and written communication skills
