  • As a Cleaner, you play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities. Your attention to detail and dedication ensure that our spaces are welcoming and sanitary for employees, visitors, and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning Tasks:
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to maintain a clear and streak-free appearance.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly utilized and stored.
  • Surface Disinfection:
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails, to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
  • Follow established procedures for sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces using approved cleaning agents.
  • Floor Care:
  • Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors to remove dirt, debris, and spills.
  • Use floor cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers or buffers, as necessary to maintain cleanliness and shine.
  • Kitchen and Breakroom Maintenance:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
  • Restock supplies, such as paper towels, soap, and trash bags, in kitchen and breakroom areas.
  • Specialized Cleaning Tasks:
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks on a rotating basis, such as carpet shampooing, upholstery cleaning, and floor waxing.
  • Follow specific cleaning protocols for specialized areas, such as laboratories, medical facilities, or food preparation areas.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Adhere to safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work during non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
