FYI – For your Information has a critical new opening for a functional analyst who is experienced in software testing and technical functional analysis. In this key role you will directly impact our customer’s defense missions by maintaining and evolving mission-critical data and information systems. You will be part of a high performing team collaborating with developers, engineers, data scientists and other analyst to prototype and deploy new capabilities supporting warfighter end users. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in scrum software development, IT project management, and tactical planning and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with product owners and stakeholders to collect, capture, and refine requirements.
• Support the development of both enterprise applications and rapid prototypes by leveraging an Agile software development life cycle.
• Lead product backlog maintenance and grooming sessions.
• Develop technical documents, briefs, user guide, test scripts, and other deliverables.
• Designs, develops, and implements testing methods within an Agile development environment.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for user issues.
• Organize and lead technical resource teams to design, implement, and ensure the successful and timely delivery of solutions.
• Lead Agile activities such as scrum, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience performing business and functional analysis or software testing on customer requirements.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working with product owners and stakeholders to collect, capture, and refine requirements.
• 4 years of experience performing business and functional analysis or software testing on customer requirements
• 4 years of experience with intelligence or operations analysis in the DoD or IC.
• Experience in client interactions, including dealing with technology strategies and road mapping
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience writing requirements, test cases, and other documentation.
• Experience with tracking status of multiple work streams to ensure on time, high quality delivery of software
• Experience interacting with multiple testing/development teams concurrently in order to have situational awareness of status.
• Experience with beta testing and regression testing.
• Experience with project and requirement management software, including JIRA and Confluence
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills as well as problem-solving and analytical skills
• TS/SCI clearance– active clearance.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with various intelligence disciplines, including GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, or SIGINT
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, inclusive, and collaborative work environment and work with the team to achieve consensus
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, comprehend the intent of a client’s needs, and help to shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities
• Bachelor's degree
• Agile or SCRUM Master Certification
