Mechanical Designer - Full-time

Location: Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of related design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 
• Experience with the design of light industrial machinery
• Computer skills - PC literate. 
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized – able to manage multiple projects at different stages 

Job Description

• Support Engineering and Sales efforts associated with the sale, design, and support of our systems through the generation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Mechanical Design – primarily light industrial machinery involving: 

1. Weldments
2. Sheet Metal
3. Fabricated components
4. Pneumatics
5. Motion components – bearings, rails, shafts, belts, pulleys, chains, motors
6. Incorporating electrical control devices

• Generate and maintain technical documentation including:

1. Pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and diagrams
2. Assembly drawings
3. Mechanical details, layouts, and assemblies
4. Installation Drawings and Procedures
5. Parts Lists
6. Manuals

• Project Management – Work with Production to: 

1. Establish time line for a project from receipt of PO to shipment
2. Create customer project-specific drawings and parts list
3. Assist with the plan to assemble and test equipment and make it ready for shipment
