Job Details:
- Success in this position requires strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills both on the phone and in person as well as mechanical aptitude as it relates to awning manufacturing and trouble shooting.
- You must be a self-starter, team player and have the ability to work independently.
- This position requires excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and time management.
- Technology proficiency is key as you would be working independently on your laptop and smartphone using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat as well as other online applications.
- The position will require travel by air and or driving to manage and service current dealers and working to develop new dealers. To be effective, you will need to live within the Illinois area.
- In addition to the above stated traits, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline, at least two years of dealer sales experience in the building, construction or shade products field and a strong desire to meet new people and develop new relationships.
- Compensation is a salary plus sales growth bonus with salary commensurate with experience.
- Must pass a background check.
