Job Description
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our clients team. This role entails meticulous management of financial records, including billing, invoicing, and related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of man hours, equipment hours, costs, quotes, contracts, purchase orders, job books, and invoices, ensuring proper allocation for billing purposes.
- Manage documentation such as job books, files, purchase orders, and billing across all relevant entities.
- Input business transactions into computer systems from invoices, cash receipts, and other relevant documents.
- Compile statistical data on invoicing, payroll, and billing to generate weekly reports for management.
- Reconcile weekly time sheets from job sites and address any discrepancies as necessary.
- Provide support with month-end reporting and close-out activities.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on accounting.
- Minimum of five years of experience in accounts receivable.
- Preference for candidates with background in construction accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
- Ability to utilize 10-key touch.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
