We are looking for front desk associates, to operate our front desk daily and perform a variety of administrative tasks. Unfortunately, if you are still in high school or cannot commit to any shift during the hours we are open, we are not accepting those applicants. This position has limited employees and they must be able to accommodate all operating hours.
You are the first, middle and end point of contact with our guests. To be successful in this position you should have a positive attitude, be able to deal with positive and negative situations that may arise with any guest or team member in an effective manner, while maintaining a professional attitude.
Multitasking is essential for this position as well as self-managing one’s time to prioritize daily duties is required of our front desk. We can teach you a program and provide you with in depth training but you must be openminded and ready to learn. * You must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited:
* Excellent customer service, great smile, positive mindset, and open communication
* Greeting all guests who visit our salon with a genuine welcome, then offering one of our beverages
* Making, rescheduling, or changing appointments
* Offer support to our service providers
* Organizing and updating guest contact information
* Learning and implementing changes in our software
* Answer & return phone calls, emails, and all social media inquiries in a timely manner
* Maintain front desk area having a clean and neat appearance, with all necessary
supplies (menus, business cards, tip envelopes, pens, etc.)
* Keep inventory of supplies needed
* Register transactions for services rendered, retail and/or gift card purchases
* Assisting guests with product and services-related questions
* Cleaning, and maintaining our retail products and waiting room area
* Bank runs for deposits and change
* Provide accurate information in-person and via phone/email for our guests
* Communication with team members in a professional and courteous way
Be prepared for the interview by:
* Checking out our website and familiarizing yourself with our salon and products that we
provide in retail
* Meevo software experience, not a requirement, but a plus (can be found on you tube)
* Arriving early for the interview to fill out our employment application. Come with a
smile, self-confidence, professional attitude and business attire.
* Having solid verbal communication skills, maintaining eye contact, knowing why you
would want to be a part of our team and what you could bring to the team to improve
upon what is already implemented
* Having the ability and knowledge to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
