Busy OB/GYN office, located in NW Oklahoma City, is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant. We offer a competitive benefits package, paid time off, as well as paid holidays. At least 2 years of medical assistant experience required, previous OB/GYN experience preferred. Candidates should have experience with electronic medical records, fast paced clinical experience and a proven track record of dependability. Hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Fridays 8:30am to 12:30pm. Please apply with resume.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting specimens
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean, stocked, and organized
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, allergies, and medications
- Provide exceptional patient service by ensuring their comfort and addressing their concerns
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or related healthcare role
- Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with medical coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
