Functional Medicine of Idaho is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Eagle, ID

Purpose

To perform various clinical and office duties to keep FMI healthcare practice running efficiently.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patients including vitals, test samples and maintaining patient health records and history
  • Preparing chart, Open and closing responsibilities as directed, and Participating in daily am clinical team huddles
  • To clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
  • Responsible for daily communication with patient care and clinical team ensuring smoothly and efficient daily operations
  • Responding to patient inquiries in patient portal, faxing scripts and referrals on individual basis
  • Assist the nurse and office manager in maintain the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed

Qualification And/ OR Work Experience Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited medical assistance certification program preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
