Responsible for the corporate general ledger and accounting entries on a monthly basis. Provide support to the Director of Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for making the monthly entries into the general ledger (Quickbooks) and the accuracy thereof.
• Responsible for bank reconciliations and reconciling account balances on a monthly basis and identifying discrepancies.
• Helps manage Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Assists Director of Finance in the preparation of monthly financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows.
• Assist Director of Finance in preparing for the annual audit and providing information and support for any questions arising from the audit.
• Assists with financial analysis and pro-forma statements.
• Helps in completing monthly returns relevant to income received as part of state and other funding.
• Assist, as necessary, in the preparation of payroll.

Qualifications and experience: Degree in Accounting preferable and at least two years of relevant detailed accounting experience.

• Detailed experience with QuickBooks required.
• Good accounting knowledge including GAAP.
• Experience in working where there are multi-locations.
• Good analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to details and deadlines

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
