Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Technical and Project Manager will be a key member of our team, responsible for adhesion to technical, compliance and installation standards, between sales/design, production, supply chain and installation activities of the company.

The Technical and Project Manager will work with the COO, CFO and Director of Sales & Marketing to plan and implement said activities. Work to become an expert in all aspects of Fun Spot Manufacturing Customers and Products and providing specific expertise to the entire team.

Responsibilities are :

  • Manage all projects for new trampoline park builds and upgrades.
  • Work with sales and design team to solve problems before they happen.
  • Coordinate weekly project call for communication regarding orders and communicate to customers results of these meetings relative to their projects.
  • Coordinate supply chain activities with other work units or departments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries/complaints in a timely manner to resolve open issues.
  • Become expert in compliance to ASTM standards and other compliance requirements.
  • Ensure projects are efficiently managed from final design to customer turnover.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct project review and take off at earliest potential project stage possible
  • Coordinate long lead time items and overall supply chain with operations team.
  • Ensure and oversee accurate design and technical information provided by the design team.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the client throughout the project realization
  • Maintain the project margin defined by the business pricing tool
  • Manage project Pipeline database and lead weekly BOM priority meeting with sales, engineering, finance, and operations :
  • Organize progress meetings.
  • Holds project reviews to anticipate and ensure interfaces between different project stages.
  • Ensure quality, costs, and deadlines.
  • Review orders for accuracy before placing into production.
  • Carries out and ensures the follow-up of active client projects.
  • Ensure the choice of technical solutions to improve the process and/or reduce costs.
  • Master product design and sizing software
  • Monitor technological developments in the company's field of activity
  • Draft the specifications of control, assembly, and manufacturing means
  • Participates in construction meetings or is represented by local Fun Spot liaisons
  • Negociates amendments to the original order, if necessary, with the support of the sales department.
  • Assist sales representatives to provide customer quotations.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Finance to resolve outstanding customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist marketing team in planning and coordinating trade shows.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Creativity ! Organizational, management, and planning skills, including the ability to juggle munltiple tasks with an energetic and motivated personality.
  • Leading a major project or coordinating several operational projects simultaneously.
  • Designing and implementing new and effective solutions.
  • Ability to read and understand CAD drawings, specifications of a construction project
  • Understanding current regulations in Trampoline Park construction.
  • Analysing and understanding the origin of a malfunction, incident, or accident (product physical specifications, processes, etc.).
  • Strong team player with the ability to teach others (coaching) and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong computer and systems skills.
  • An eye for detail, but the ability to see the big picture of a project.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Curious, Self-Motivated, and able to influence people and outcomes.
  • Customer Service Focused.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
