7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Includes every third weekend and holiday rotation
Fulton County Health Center is looking to add a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to their team.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
• Is a team-player and collaborative
• Is passionate about patient-centered care
• Has good communication skills and can adapt to change
The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, administers routine services in caring for selected patients. Preference for working with people in direct contact.
Requirements
Must be a graduate of accredited school of practical/vocational nursing. Must hold current LPN license in the state of Ohio with completion of an approved course in medication administration. Will continue to maintain competency by completing a minimum of 24 hours of Continuing Education Credit (CEU) courses within each two year period, corresponding to license renewal. Two pediatric related CEUs per LPN license renewal required for Med/Surg.
Requires clinical knowledge and independent judgment necessary to implement and direct individualized and comprehensive patient care. Maintains accountability for own nursing care and care delegated to others to assume adherence to ethical and legal standards. Requires high degree of interpersonal skill for effective communication with all personnel, clients and families.
