The Behavioral Health Licensed Social Worker (LSW), under general direction and in accordance with hospital standards and policies, will be responsible for working with individuals, families, and/or groups to deliver quality treatment services across the life spectrum in conjunction with scope of practice and licensing. Provides group, family, and individual therapy. Would cross train to work in the inpatient unit, the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and the Geriatric Outpatient Program (GIOP).
Requirements
Must be a graduate of an accredited social work program. BSW required, MSW preferred. Inpatient hospital social work experience preferred. Two years of experience in behavioral health as an LSW strongly recommended. Must hold and maintain an active license as a LSW in Ohio. Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory requirements that pertain to practice. Must have successfully completed BLS within 6 months of hire and maintain certification. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and conduct self professionally.
