This position is hybrid with in-office days located at 23 East King Street in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

This role will develop and implement the strategic direction and focus for a variety of banking products in the area of small business. Primary responsibilities will focus on driving prioritization, development, implementation, and performance of specific Banking products while maintaining alignment with Fulton's profitability goals and objectives. The Director of Product Management will own various products and/or services assigned to product channels (both existing as well as new solutions) in support of growing revenue, optimize the experience of Fulton's consumers to drive acquisition and retention of relationships, and provide project management and team leadership for initiatives. In addition, the Director of Product Management will be responsible for Pricing recommendations and Cost of Funds goals. Incumbents will lead projects through an agile management framework and team leadership to execute on strategic initiatives. Occasional travel required.

Develop and implement Product Management strategy to include identification of new products and solutions. Execution activities will include the evaluation, management, development, and monitoring of initiatives to drive solution development, including product risk management and managing all stakeholders involved in support of the product initiative
• Evaluate existing products to identify and lead the maintenance, upgrading, and overall performance optimization of existing products utilizing customer insights and evaluation of product performance to remedy market concerns and increase product usage
• Provide recommendations to identify, recommend, develop, and implement new products in expectation of customer needs. Drive product growth through collaboration with product teams, internal stakeholder/internal departments, and external vendors
• This position will manage, recommend, and is accountable for the deposit and loan rate product recommendations along with accountability for the meeting Cost of Funds targets/goals for the product lines organizationally.
• Manages a team of direct reports. Team management responsibilities will include planning, managing, and evaluating performance, making salary and promotional recommendations, and partnering with Human Resources to resolve employment related issues as necessary. Support and provide direction as team members engage and lead product development initiatives to establish and achieve milestones, adhere to timelines, conduct/oversee testing, and evaluate internal processes and external vendors as required
• Assist in creating marketing and sales material and assist sales by serving as the Subject Matter Expert and fostering a better understanding of products in the financial industry
• Support other corporate projects and priorities, including risk management, M&A, onboarding, etc., as needed

Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Business, Finance or other applicable. (Required)

Master Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Business Administration. (Preferred)

7 or more years small business product development and management. (Required)

10 or more years banking, marketing, or project management within financial services. (Preferred)

1 or more years team leadership. (Required)
