We are seeking a diligent and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our team. The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the quality of our irrigation system installations and services. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of irrigation systems and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation system installations to ensure adherence to design specifications and regulatory standards.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing the quality of products and services.

1. Team Supervision:

• Supervise a team of quality control technicians and inspectors.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure that team members perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.

1. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions taken.
• Generate regular reports for management summarizing quality performance metrics and trends.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients.

1. Supplier and Vendor Management:

• Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to ensure the quality of materials and components used in irrigation system installations.
• Conduct audits and evaluations of suppliers and vendors to assess their adherence to quality standards and specifications.

1. Customer Satisfaction:

• Address customer concerns and inquiries related to quality issues promptly and effectively.
• Work closely with customer service teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in the irrigation industry.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, including design principles, installation methods, and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ASTM, ASABE, and EPA guidelines.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is a plus.
