Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our company's procurement activities and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Your expertise in supply chain management, contract negotiation, and vendor management will be crucial in maintaining efficient operations and driving our business forward.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Review and analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop specifications for new products or services
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to inform purchasing decisions
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Oversee the performance of the purchasing team, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Proficient in contract management, negotiation, and vendor management
- Familiarity with logistics processes and MRP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
