Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Offsite Purchasing Manager to oversee and optimize our procurement processes for off-site construction materials and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and supply chain management within the residential construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize the sourcing and purchasing of off-site construction materials, products, and services while achieving cost savings and maintaining quality standards.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts for off-site purchases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, estimating, construction, and finance, to identify off-site purchasing requirements and ensure alignment with project schedules and budgets.
• Lead the evaluation and qualification of new suppliers and vendors to expand the company's off-site purchasing capabilities and enhance competitive advantage.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks in off-site procurement and implement appropriate strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
• Implement best practices, processes, and systems to streamline off-site purchasing workflows, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the off-site purchasing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the residential construction industry.
• Strong understanding of off-site construction methods, materials, and supply chain dynamics.
• Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and achieving cost savings in off-site purchasing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex data, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans to achieve business objectives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
