As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall maintenance and functionality of our apartment complex. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and preventive maintenance to maintain the property's excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Routine Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment and systems to ensure longevity and efficiency.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management.

Repairs:

Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building systems.
Address and resolve issues reported by residents, including but not limited to leaks, faulty wiring, and malfunctioning appliances.

Groundskeeping:

Maintain the appearance of the grounds by performing landscaping duties, such as mowing, trimming, and watering as needed.
Ensure proper disposal of trash and debris on the property.

Emergency Response:

Be available for on-call duties for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
Respond promptly to emergency situations, including but not limited to water leaks, power outages, and heating/cooling system failures.

Documentation:

Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Provide input on inventory needs and order necessary supplies in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance procedures.
• Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
