JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join and support our facilities. As an RN you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their well-being, and ensuring their safety. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, administer medications, monitor resident health, and provide emotional support.
Qualifications:
1 year Experience in hospital, clinic, or long-term care setting
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR.
Knowledge of electronic health record systems.
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Knowledge of long-term care regulations, policies, and procedures.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple resident needs effectively.
Proficiency in documentation and use of electronic medical records.
Strong ethical and professional conduct.
What can you expect to do as a RN?
Resident Care:
Conduct comprehensive resident assessments, considering physical, psychological, and social aspects, to identify individualized care needs.
Develop, implement, and update resident care plans based on assessments, goals, and interventions.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, ensuring accuracy, proper technique, and adherence to protocols.
Monitor and evaluate resident responses to care interventions, including vital signs, symptoms, and laboratory results.
Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families, addressing their concerns and promoting a positive environment.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes.
Document observations, interventions, and any changes in resident condition in accordance with facility policies.
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, including physicians, other nurses, and support staff, regarding resident care and updates.
Safety and Infection Control:
Ensure resident safety by identifying and mitigating potential hazards, promoting a safe environment, and implementing fall prevention measures.
Adhere to infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and isolation precautions.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and pharmacists, to provide comprehensive care and achieve desired outcomes.
Engage in effective communication with residents and their families, keeping them informed about care plans, progress, and any changes in condition.
Provide guidance and support to nursing assistants and other support staff, ensuring consistent and quality care delivery.
Education and Compliance:
Educate residents and their families on disease management, medication administration, self-care techniques, and preventive measures.
Stay updated with current nursing practices, evidence-based guidelines, and regulatory requirements in long-term care.
