JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med Surg or Telemetry RN to join our facility in Austell, Georgia. As an RN, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our residents, promoting their well-being, and assisting in their daily activities. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver excellent nursing care while adhering to established protocols, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• 3 years experience in Hospital nursing. ( Med Surg or Telemetry Req.)
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS.
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems.
• Current and valid Georgia Nursing (RN) license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of Hospital regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in documentation and use of electronic medical records.
• Strong ethical and professional conduct.

What can you expect to do as a RN?

• Perform thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions and telemetry data, identifying cardiac rhythms and abnormalities.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings, incorporating telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical interventions as needed.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and monitor patient responses closely.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, promptly identifying and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms or patient conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about telemetry monitoring, cardiac conditions, and self-care strategies to promote cardiac health and prevent complications.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families during stressful periods, such as cardiac events or procedures.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery and outcomes.
• Stay updated on advances in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing practice through continuing education and professional development activities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Capable of performing tasks that require fine motor skills and visual acuity.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and emotional demands of patient care.

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
