POSITION SUMMARY
If you’re interested in owning the product strategy and direction for a leading organization in fintech, and open banking, this role is for you.
Reporting to FDX’s Director of Product, the Technical Product Manager will drive the product roadmap, product strategy and end to end execution for FDX Products. These products are Cloud native, deployed on Google Cloud Platform. This role requires close interaction with our customers - senior product and technical staff at our members - the top financial institutions and fintechs in US and Canada. The person will oversee the design, delivery, and oversight of the FDX Reference Implementation, the FDX Registry, and Certification Products.
It is a highly visible role with opportunities to speak at conferences, lead product management for products that will shape the industry and provide thought leadership in user permissioned data sharing standards development based on technologies like FIDO, CIBA, OAuth, FAPI, MTLS, DCRP, and more.
An ideal candidate is self-driven, a strategic thinker, an excellent facilitator, a project management ninja with deep customer empathy with an understanding of API development, management, and testing frameworks. Experience with Agile development frameworks and an ability to work with remote engineering teams is required.
BACKGROUND
The Financial Data Exchange (FDX) is the premier and the only forum of its kind globally that brings together all parts of financial industry to promote development and adoption of technical frameworks for permissioned data sharing aka Open Banking, or Open Finance via the FDX API. FDX is currently comprised of 205 financial institutions, fintechs, data aggregators, consumer groups, financial industry groups and service providers who work to further develop, promote, and implement the FDX APIs, the user experience guidelines, the security guidelines, and a certification program. FDX is a subsidiary of FS-ISAC.
