Description

The Associate Director, Crisis Services, is a senior leadership position that provides administrative and clinical oversight to the programs of the Mobile Crisis Team. The ADCS supervises a team of Managers, leading the coordination, planning, development and implementation of mobile crisis services for adults, children and families served within Cuyahoga County. These programs include, but are not limited to the 988 Helpline, Mobile Crisis Teams, Crisis chat & text, and the Co-Responder teams. Focus is given to patient-centered, community-based responses and service coordination between agency programs and other community providers. The ADCS participates in the development of policies and procedures to ensure consistency in service response and compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides clinical supervision and coordination of agency crisis programs ensuring all professional, clinical, and ethical standards are adhered to.
  • Assist in the oversight of day-to-day activities of the mobile crisis teams, including budgeting, planning, staff recruitment, development and resilience, and monitoring of staff performance.
  • Ensures effective performance for direct service programs including timely and accurate documentation and record keeping by monitoring and analyzing system database and records and implements corrective action as necessary.
  • Develop and support staff in oversight and management of the crisis services systems work.
  • Ensures compliance with all health and safety requirements, program audit standards, licensure requirements and performance contracting requirements (i.e., ODMH, Medicaid, ODADAS) through the preparation and oversight of statistical and service reports, summaries, case records and other documents for inter/intra-agency communications, development/updating of agreements, and other administrative reports as requested.
  • Facilitate collaboration with other behavioral health partners to improve coordination of services.
  • Provides assistance to and maintains effective working relationships with service/treatment providers, community stakeholders, and residents of Cuyahoga County.
  • Collaborate with other local behavioral health authorities and systems of care to identify gaps in resources. Develops and implements strategies for enhancing access to care and the quality of care provided to those experiencing crises in Cuyahoga County.
  • Upholds and operationalizes the values of FrontLine and consistently works to apply a lens of anti-racism, equity and inclusion within the department, organization and the broader community.
  • Review and evaluate information on service delivery system methods, outputs, and activities to identify best and evidence-based practices for those experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
  • Represents FrontLine and the crisis programs, participating in public speaking/education events, program presentations and fund-raising opportunities to assist in familiarizing others with services.

Schedule: typically works Mon-Fri 9:00- 5:30 but will be required to work various times and days as needed to fill in for call-offs.

This is an exempt, non-union position.

Qualifications


Required Qualifications: Must have either LISW-S or LPCC-S. Five years’ experience with SMD population. Experience with SUD a plus. Previous experience working in Mobile Crisis is preferable
