We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Manager to join our team and oversee a frictionless claims process.

Job Summary

The Claims Manager is responsible for maintaining an efficient and seamless claims process by managing relationships with third-party vendors, overseeing supplements, and handling communication with adjusters. This role includes auditing supplements, negotiating claims via phone and email, and reviewing final billable amounts for accuracy. The ideal candidate is experienced in hail claims, Xactimate software, and has a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Management: Manage the relationship with our third-party vendor responsible for supplement processing, ensuring smooth collaboration and accurate billing.
• Supplement Auditing: Regularly audit supplement charges to verify accuracy and ensure fair billing practices.
• Adjuster Communications: Handle one-off communications with adjusters to negotiate claims via email and phone, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties.
• Claims Negotiation: Negotiate claim settlements professionally to secure the appropriate compensation for restoration work completed.
• Billing Review: Review the final billable amount at the end of each job to ensure all charges are accurate and correspond to completed work.
• Claims Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement to streamline the claims handling experience.
• Xactimate Proficiency: Utilize Xactimate software to review and analyze claim details, supplements, and charges.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in claims management, particularly in hail claims and the construction or restoration industry.
• Strong familiarity with Xactimate software and supplement processing.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills for interacting with adjusters, clients, and third-party vendors.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in a related field is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
