Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our Quick Lane service department. Your main goal will be to assist customers with their vehicle service needs and ensure their satisfaction throughout the entire process.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and listen to their concerns or requests
- Schedule appointments and manage the service department's calendar
- Conduct vehicle inspections and accurately document customer concerns
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and services
- Prepare accurate estimates for labor, parts, and additional services
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
- Process payments and handle customer inquiries or complaints
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and interactions
Experience:
- Previous experience in auto service management or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics and problem-solving techniques
- Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven sales ability with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
