As a Hourly Shift Coordinator, you will be an important member of the team and will be supported with the tools and training needed to succeed in our dynamic organization.

A Hourly Shift Coordinator's responsibilities are to supervise and train team members, maintain appropriate inventory levels, ensure customer satisfaction and implement quality improvements. Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Set policies and processes
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports for upper management
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Requirements

• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability
• Ability to prioritize own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Demonstrated understanding of Guest service principles
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Problem-solving aptitude
• BSc/BA or MSc/MA in Business or relevant field is a plus

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for restaurant operations during assigned shifts when management is not present. As a Shift Supervisor, you are required to have strong customer service and communication skills. This position also requires you to have a High School diploma or equivalent, stand for up to 8 hours during a shift and be able to lift 30 to 50 pounds.
