Burger King General Managers have overall accountability for all aspects of their restaurant. We will expect you to drive operational and people performance results and strive to continuously improve your restaurant and the people in it.

SO WHAT DOES YOUR WEEK LOOK LIKE?

• Hire, onboard, train, coach and develop a team of awesome employees to be as good as you (or better)
• Create and/or approve schedules based on weekly forecasts and Management and
• Crew availability
• Ensure restaurant is kept clean, and up to Burger King standards, so it’s a fresh place to come and enjoy some Burger King food
• Address repair and maintenance activities ensuring Burger King standards are met at all times
• Manage all operational, people, financial and customer aspects of your restaurant to have a well-rounded business

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

• Must love to have fun and always treat others the way you’d like to be treated
• A minimum of 1-year restaurant general manager or 2 years’ restaurant assistant manager experience, preferably in a quick service restaurant environment
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work 50 hours per week of varying shifts to manage the business successfully
• Prior experience hiring, building a team and maintaining appropriate staffing levels
• Local store marketing experience, a plus
• A crave for feedback in order to continuously improve your restaurant
• Excellent organizational, communication and computer skills

As a Restaurant General Manager, you are key to our business. You are responsible in managing your team along with operational and financial objectives. You will achieve sales goals, develop your employees, maintain retention, and ensure all systems are efficiently in place. A General Manager is required to have four or more years in a management or supervisory capacity in a restaurant or the retail/hospitality industry. A qualified candidate must also have a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
