Job Description:

As a Full-Time Housekeeper at Friends Lake Inn, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our guest rooms, common areas, and the overall property. This position requires a detail-oriented and reliable individual who takes pride in providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.

Responsibilities:

- Perform custodial tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces

- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas

- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens

- Perform floor care duties such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing

- Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials

- Adhere to housekeeping management guidelines and standards

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel

- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests or residents

Requirements:

- Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred

- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment

- Familiarity with hospitality or hotel housekeeping standards is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
