• Daily communication with all departments within the facility.
• Timely placement of purchase orders for operating supplies, services, and finished goods at third party processes.
• Proactive tracking and expediting of shipments as necessary to ensure flow of all materials remains uninterrupted.
• Maintain min/max system for production MRO supplies.
• Monitoring ERP system for material movement issues.
• Assessing and resolving problems between suppliers and company personnel.
• Negotiating prices, sourcing alternate vendors, achieving price decreases, and tracking savings on MRO supplies.
• Setting up and updating pricing files in ERP system.
• Setting up new vendors and ensuring compliance with FNST policies.
• Updating internal databases with pricing, lead time, minimum buys based on vendor.
• Timely response to invoicing issues and inquiries.
• Participating in annual inventory to comply with FNST policy.
• Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• All other duties as required.

• Minimum - High school degree with 2-5 years purchasing or customer service experience.
• Preferred - 4 year degree or comparative purchasing experience.
• SAP experience and knowledge in DP/MM/PE.
• Basic knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles, office management procedures, purchasing procedures and practices. CPM/CPIM/CIPS certifications would be a plus.
• High level of critical thinking and proficiency in business mathematical skills.
• Good phone and written communication skills.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform functions in Microsoft Excel such as vlookup, if statements, nested if statements with AND, OR, BUT, pivot tables, charting, in extensive excel spreadsheets.
• Thorough knowledge of MRP.
• Experience working with outside suppliers.
