Fresh Mark, Inc. is Hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager Near Massillon, OH

The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees the warehouse functions at all Fresh Mark locations. This skilled multitasker will manage the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. The warehouse manager must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate order fulfillment, and track shipping times for millions of product orders every year. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
  • Manage warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods.
  • Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals (efficiency, OSD, loading/unloading, etc.)
  • Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics, and hours in all facets to obtain P&L goals and profit plan.
  • Address shortages with planner on loads; research all OSD/damage issues with cameras; ensure all work is managed through the work queue. (no paper)
  • Review and prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
  • Responsible for reporting and audits such as performance and safety.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.

Education & Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and prior work experience in a manufacturing environment required. Experience supporting high speed food manufacturing in a supervisory role is a plus.
  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills.
  • Critical skills include execution, attention to detail, follow-through, conflict resolution, collaboration, building ownership and commitment, developing others, drive for change, tenacity, problem-solving.
  • Ability to provide and implement plans, objectives and standards timely.
  • The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
