Job SummaryThe Director, Corporate Accounts is responsible for acting as the main contact for IV Therapy Clinical Sales and will strategically leverage clinical expertise in support of meeting the company's financial objectives. The Director, Corporate Accounts (Clinical Sales) will develop and lead the clinical pre-sales strategy for the IV Therapy products. Additionally, this position will advance the company's position as a leader in IV Therapy through supporting all pre-sales activities including evaluations, assessments, presentations, and customer engagements. Leads and presents the full portfolio of Fresenius Kabi IV Therapy products from a clinical perspective to customers, sales team, 3rd parties, etc. including sales strategy, positioning, and value proposition.Responsibilities
  • Drives revenue by advancing the company's position from a clinical perspective in nursing and pharmacy.
  • Drives new product development through close alignment with Marketing and R&D.
  • Leads and presents technology, solutions, consumables, and pharmacy products and workflows to customers, sales team, 3rd parties, etc. including sales strategy, positioning, and value proposition.
  • Leads and facilitates customer and 3rd party meetings, conference calls, etc. regarding the Fresenius Kabi IV Therapy portfolio from a clinical perspective.
  • Manages customer expectations and coordinates pre-sales assessments.
  • Manages customer relationships with a high level of service and build strong relationships to ensure successful transitions to Fresenius Kabi and satisfied, loyal customers.
  • Upsells and provides consultative services to customers.
  • Develops, cultivates, and maintains relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Provides input and feedback regarding new product and business development activities.
  • Specializes in geographic areas in the United States, support trade shows, division functions, GPO's, and IDN's etc.
  • Completes all training requirements, including all department-specific, compliance training, etc.
  • Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management.

  • As part of Top Management, you have the overall responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, including the following:
    o taking overall responsibility and accountability for the prevention of work-related injuries and ill health, the protection of the environment, as well as the provision of safe, harmless, and healthy workplaces,
    o ensuring that the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems' policies and related objectives are established and are compatible with the strategic direction of the organization.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (Masters or advanced degree preferred).
  • 10 years of relevant healthcare industry experience.
  • 5 years in related marketing/sales position.
  • Current RN license and maintained throughout the course of employment.
  • Proven success selling into healthcare markets.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and deliver results through process-oriented data-driven continuous improvement tools and methods.
  • Solid influencing skills accompanied with outstanding selling and presentation skills.
  • Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external business contacts with a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to travel frequently by car, public transportation (i.e., airline travel); Travel requirement of approximately 75% (overnight travel will vary depending on business need). Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must maintain all requirements for access to customer sites, including active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements (may include COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations), in order to perform the essential functions of the role at customer locations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with ERPs (SAP preferred), CRMs (Salesforce.com preferred) and knowledge of other database concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends to meet business/customer needs.
  • Ability to work effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information.
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
