Optician and/or Optical assistant needed in optometry/optical practice in Alhambra.

Looking for a motivated, personable, hardworking optician both full time or part time. Experience preferred but on-site training available. The position will provide opportunity for growth.

Duties:
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit
- Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists
- Educate customers on lens options, frames, and lens treatments
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or issues

Requirements:
- Experience with medical billing systems is preferred
- Strong understanding of retail math for pricing and discounts
- Familiarity with medical records and patient information confidentiality
- Knowledge of retail management principles for inventory management and sales tracking
- Understanding of aseptic technique for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace
