Consulting Civil Engineers

Job:

Freeland & Associates is seeking a highly qualified Project Support Lead to support civil engineering projects from permitting through design. The Project Support Lead will engage with engineers to assist in project management and company marketing. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, with a team, or directly with clients. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare environmental permits
  • Prepare development permits
  • Prepare technical reports and memorandums
  • Coordinate directly with government agencies for permitting
  • Monitor project permit and review status
  • Draft correspondence and communicate effectively with project stakeholders
  • Perform limited receptionist duties
  • Prepare Statements of Qualifications for future projects
  • Prepare professional service agreements

Qualifications:

  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in technical writing preferred
  • High attention to detail and project organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in InDesign or similar is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
  • Experience in land use planning, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred
  • Career-oriented individual who wants to progress further in their career and take on additional tasks

Compensation:

  • $25 to $40 / hr
  • Eligibility for overtime

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $37.00 per hour
