Freedom Technology Solutions Group is Hiring a Senior ServiceNow System Administrator Near Hanover, MD

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking aSystems Administratorin anticipation ofa new contractaward in late 2023.The contractrequiresa broad range of engineering and technical services tosupportour customers’goals.Our program teamwill providemanagerial, design, engineering, architectural, technical, implementation and maintenancesupportfor the Enterprise IT Services (EIS) ServiceNow (SNOW) platform. This system is usedto manage customer IT service requests,software resources,and ITservice functions forthe enterprise. As aSystems Administratoron this program, you willprovide the following services to provision, manage, and secure the ServiceNow platform:

  • Develop, diagnose, and resolve issues for the SNOW software platforms
  • Manage, upgrade, and decommission software
  • Performoperationsandmaintenanceactivities,includingperiodic vulnerability scans andIAVA security patches
  • Provide transition expertise and support for transitioning infrastructure, workflows,andprocesses/procedures from the current environment to the newenvironment
  • Create written mitigation procedures for both Tier 1 and 2 Tier levels to use to resolve/mitigate known SNOW errors
  • Work with developers to develop scripts to automatically resolve recurring known errors
  • Back-up and/or recover customer and application-related files
  • Check forServiceNowversion and patch updatestoensuretheimplemented tool isup to date
  • Use monitoring tools and trouble-ticketing systems to coordinate and schedule outages with system owners and customers

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical disciplineand10years of experience as an SA. Anadditional4 years ofSA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
  • Must have4 years ofexperience withITService Management (ITSM)
  • Must have one of the following IATLevelII certifications:Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)Security, Cyber Security Analyst (CySA ), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), CompTIA Security Continuing Education (Security CE), Cyber Network Defender (CND), or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience withtheServiceNow platform
  • Experience integrating ServiceNowwith other applications
  • ServiceNow System Administrator certification
