- System Management Excellence: Lead the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems within a DoD/IC environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Operational Leadership: Manage the day-to-day configuration and operation of IT systems, ensuring the seamless support of mission-critical activities.
- Advanced Problem Solving: Provide both Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, offering expert problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution to minimize downtime and support mission success.
- User Support and Engagement: Deliver exceptional assistance to users, facilitating access to and effective use of IT systems, enhancing mission effectiveness.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system operations meticulously, optimizing resource utilization and conducting capacity planning to support strategic mission objectives.
- Security and Compliance: Enforce stringent security protocols and practices, ensuring systems meet the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality required by the DoD/IC contract.
- Strategic System Enhancement: Configure and manage Linux and Windows operating systems, driving enhancements to improve reliability, performance, and integration with mission-critical applications.
- Fifteen (15) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government, specifically supporting DoD/IC operations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- Must have a current Security certification.
- Demonstrated expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems, network components, and integrating complex IT systems within a high-security environment.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Must possess an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope polygraph.
