Freedom Solar is currently seeking a highly organized and detailed-oriented individual to fill the position of Commercial Construction Manager within our esteemed team. The primary responsibility of the Construction Manager is to effectively oversee and manage installation teams. It is imperative that the individual ensures all installations are executed in a manner that prioritizes safety, quality and efficiency. This role necessitates an exceptional comprehension of solar installation processes, including an expert-level understanding of electrical tie-ins, code compliance, and one-line diagrams. Furthermore, the successful candidate must possess excellent customer service skills and demonstrate flawless communication abilities.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Manage day-to-day execution of solar construction projects in person.
• Willing to travel 3-7 days per week depending on need. 
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards
• Collaborate with the design team to enhance project efficiency, and accuracy in design layouts
• Document scope of work changes, comprehending cost estimates on a project level
• Perform daily reporting tasks, manage computer-based tasks, and maintain efficient communication channels.
• Undertake additional assigned responsibilities as required.
• Collaborate on standards with all stakeholders.
• Manage field teams in person that consist mostly of installers

• Willingness to travel 50 % of the time.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Preferred, but not mandatory, Texas Electrical License (Journeyman, Master)
• Preferred, but not mandatory, NABCEP certification.
• Have a strong problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
• Uphold a professional demeanor around customers, employees and vendors
• Display a high level of organization and process orientation
• Adaptability to evolving requirements of a dynamic and expanding company.
• Developing critical analysis skills, with the ability to measure, assess, and enhance processes within the solar installation

• Capability to assume various physical positions, including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended durations.
• Aptitude for lifting weights up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the workday.
