Frederick Landscaping is Hiring an Office Manager/Bookkeeper Near New Windsor, MD

Frederick Landscaping is a family-owned and operated business founded in 1989. We provide a wide range of professional landscaping services for homeowners, commercial property managers and builders, as well as municipality and government agencies. We believe in expanding and strengthening an engaged, vibrant and flourishing local community of New Windsor, MD.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Part-time Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team. Our Part-time Office Manager/Bookkeeper will focus on servicing others, will be passionate about our community, and will utilize their skills in customer service, technology and operations management. We offer a fun, flexible and collaborative team to support your efforts, health and wellness benefits, a competitive wage of $21-$25/hour commensurate with experience, and a fast-paced, business casual work environment. Part-time work schedule of 25 hours/week, Monday-Friday.

Requirements for Part-time Office Manager/Bookkeeper:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years of experience in an office management role with strong focus on customer service, technology, payroll, full-charge bookkeeping and team building
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Bilingual in Spanish a PLUS!
  • Knowledge of both business and payroll taxes on a monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting basis
  • Moderate understanding: Quickbooks, Timesheet tracking, MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Thrive on utilizing your intuition to make recommendations that focus on streamlining the business
  • Project management: Confident to facilitate small group training
  • Solid data and audit skills for credit card, bank statements, managing both A/R and A/P is a must.
  • Use your creative thinking skills and have a growth mindset
  • Self-motivated for success in a single person office
  • Must have reliable vehicle for trips to the local bank

How our Part-time Office Manager/Bookkeeper will spend their time:

  • Manage the main office while supporting the owners in building a legacy within the green industry
  • Handle all components of a growing organization: being the first point of contact with the customer on the phone to payroll, bookkeeping, team building and beyond
  • Be a supportive and collaborative member of the team
  • Keep your thinking cap on looking for ways to streamline processes
  • Support the team with technology, relationships and processes

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
