Working within Research Administration (RA) and partnering with cross-functional Center teams such as the Therapeutic Products Program, Clinical Operations, Program in Immunology, Shared Resources, and Clinical Research Support, the Project Coordinator will provide administrative and project support to the Immunotherapy Integrated Research Center Project Management Office (IIRC PMO). The IIRC PMO oversees the implementation of all immunotherapy clinical trials in the Bezos Family Immunotherapy Clinic.
Responsibilities:

A qualified Project Coordinator will manage key tasks including meeting scheduling, meeting minutes and supporting the clinical trial startup process. This includes tasks such as collecting minimum required study documents from external study sponsors, overseeing SEVs/SIVs/feasibility review meetings, and completing study registrations. In addition to supporting the team, the Project Coordinator will assist with the implementation of a small portfolio of Immunotherapy phase I trials. This position requires flexibility in a rapidly changing environment and strong communications skills with internal and external partners.


JOB DUTIES:

Project coordination

  • Assist with project team meetings, including scheduling meetings, distributing agendas, and documenting decisions in meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate implementation and administrative activities, ensuring all projects and tasks are completed according to project/study start-up timelines.
  • Manage communications with project team, serving as project/study liaison to outside collaborators, partners, and Center departments.
  • Track clinical trial start-up progress. Develop and prepare status and progress reports for internal and external project teams.
  • Work with the Director of Project Management Office on key program initiatives with an eye to process improvement.
  • Maintain productive, positive relationships with other Center departments, funding sources, affiliated individuals or institutions, and outside organizations in all communications.

Administration

  • Perform administrative functions including ordering supplies and managing the office discretionary budget.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of three years post-master's or five years post-bachelor's project coordination experience in a research setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED

  • Experience with clinical trials
  • Advanced meeting organizational, planning, and facilitation skills.
  • Highly effective team player and excellent communicator with an ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders, scientists, and executives with diverse information needs and communications preferences.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
This position is patient facing and/or requires access to Fred Hutch clinical facilities. As such, full COVID-19 vaccination is required as a condition of employment, without exception. Booster doses are strongly recommended but not required. If declining a booster, completion of the COVID-19 Vaccination Status Form Questionnaire and COVID-19 Booster Declination Training is required. The annual base salary range for this position is from $67,445 to $101,167 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
