We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deli Manager to join our team. As Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department, ensuring exceptional customer service, inventory and purchasing, and maintaining high food quality standards. Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the deli department, including food preparation, inventory management, and daily production items.
- Ensure that all food products are prepared and presented according to company standards
- Train and supervise deli staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor product quality and freshness, rotating stock as necessary to minimize waste
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other department managers to develop and implement strategies for improving sales and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service management or a similar role is required
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food safety regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in inventory management and ordering procedures
- Knowledge of kitchen management principles, including food cost control and menu planning
