Perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to assist in the quality and compassionate care provided to patients. These duties include greeting and escorting patients to the exam room. Prepare for, set up and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments per protocols, policies, and procedures by assisting the physician during the examination/procedure. Documents care provider during patient visit in the electronic medical record system (EMR). Enters medication and lab orders in the EMR for provider sign off, and enters medication refill orders per protocol.

• Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Assist optometrists and ophthalmologists during patient examinations and procedures.
• Enter patient data into the electronic medical records (EMR).
• Transcribe medical documentation during patients visit.
• Maintain clean and organized patient exam rooms.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Assist patients with inquiries, forms, and any other administrative support they may need.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Attend weekly meetings.
