State of Ohio is Hiring a Mental Health Therapeutic Program Worker 2nd Shift Near Columbus, OH

We provide statewide leadership of highly valued mental health & addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery at OhioMHAS!

We are looking for team members who will serve compassionately, contribute & collaborate, deliver quality and be accountable.

OhioMHAS operates regional psychiatric hospitals in six locations across the state that operate 365/24/7. Our specialized facilities provide short-term, intensive treatment to patients in both inpatient and community-supported environments. We also deliver comprehensive care to patients committed through the criminal justice system.

Position Location:

Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare - 2200 W. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43223

Salary Information:

$1,000.00 New Hire Sign on Bonus, $500.00 paid at 120 days, $500.00 paid at 365 days. No contract or length of terms

* $20.60 per hour with the first increase in 120 days to $20.92 per hour

* Additional $.60 per hour shift differential for afternoon and evening shifts

* Annual increases each year with an additional longevity supplement after 5 years of service

Afternoon, and evening shifts available, weekend rotations. These positions receive a minimum of 17 weekends off per year per the OCSEA union contract.

Must be able to complete a 4-week training/orientation.

May work weekends and holidays; may be exposed to communicable diseases and unpredictable patient behavior.

Training and development required to remain in the classification after employment.

What You'll Do:

* Participate in the development of treatment plans

* Charting, documentation, records, and reporting

* Organizing and conducting patient group activities

* Transport of patients to off-site appointments

* Participating in appropriate interventions

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary. In Department of Developmental Disabilities, must also possess a high school diploma or a certificate of high school equivalence pursuant to Chapter 5123:2-3-01(F) (1) (c). For positions that require operation of motor vehicle to transport consumers to recreational, educational &/or occupational activities, a valid driver's license is required.
