Access Ohio, one of the leading community mental health agencies in Central and Southern Ohio is hiring experienced full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for our locations throughout the Columbus Area.

MUST have at least 1 year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

Requirements and Competencies:

• Assess and complete psychiatric evaluations to determine the best course of treatment appropriate to patient needs.
• Manage and prescribe psychiatric medications
• Examine and order laboratory and diagnostic tests for patients to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorder.
• Collaborate with Case Managers, Counselors and other treatment team members to coordinate patient care.
• Ability to prepare assessments, document progress notes in EMR
• Report to Medical Director and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.

Education/ Experience/ Licenses/ Certifications:

• Masters Degree in Nursing
• Current credentialing as a Certified PMHNP with license to practice and prescribe under Ohio Board of Nursing
• Previous experience in substance abuse and/or mental health setting desirable.

Pay: $55.00 - $67.00 per hour
