Franklin Terrace Assisted Living Community is Hiring an URGENT HIRE Dietary Server Near Southfield, MI
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Technician to join our team. As a Dietary Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with food production and meal serving in our dining room and also delivering room service our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food production and meal preparation according to dietary guidelines and recipes
-Serve residents in the dining room and delivery room trays
- Sanitate work areas, equipment, and utensils to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination
- Help with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain food safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient or resident dietary needs and preferences
- Adhere to portion control guidelines when serving meals
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and storage organization
- Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, production logs, and other required documentation
Experience:
- Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and dietary restrictions
- Familiarity with time management principles to ensure efficient workflow
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, residents, and team members
