Job Summary:

The M&A Investment Banking Senior Analyst is a hybrid role that requires a unique blend of technical financial expertise and client relationship management skills. This role involves performing detailed financial analysis, structuring complex M&A transactions, and engaging directly with clients to manage their strategic financial needs effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial analysis and modeling efforts for M&A transactions, including valuation, due diligence, and scenario analysis.
  • Prepare comprehensive pitch books and presentations for client meetings, outlining investment strategies and transaction benefits.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transaction execution from initiation to close.
  • Conduct market and industry research to identify trends and potential M&A opportunities.
  • Manage client relationships by providing regular updates, strategic advice, and addressing any concerns.
  • Mentor junior analysts and oversee their contributions to projects.
  • Actively participate in negotiating terms and structuring deals to maximize client value.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in all transaction activities.
  • Develop internal tools and processes to improve transaction efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences and networking events to enhance firm visibility and develop new business opportunities.
